Book Recommendations

  • The Midnight Library by Matt Haig

I was recommended this book by a friend who knew I was struggling with a big life decision. She told me it changed her life, and it completely lived up to that. If you constantly wonder “what if” when it come to life decisions, this book should be able to provide you some comfort. This is an emotionally heavy book, so give yourself grace when reading.

  • Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed for Men by Caroline Criado Perez

Invisible Women is one of the most eye-opening books I’ve read. From obscure daily operations like snow plowing to some of the more obvious patriarchal activities, you will see how clearly the world was designed by men for men. It’s very heavily backed by research, and although I haven’t finished it yet, I can already recommend it.

  • When Women Were Dragons by Kelly Barnhill

TBR: I picked this up a few weeks ago on sale, but from the reviews I can tell it’s been received well. It touches on female rage and what would happen if all women finally took up the space they deserve.
